Job description
Umee is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work with a cross functional team. The right candidate has 2+ years of DevOps experience and has a proven track record of setting up automation and operations of blockchain networks and Google Cloud Infrastructures.
Bonus if a candidate has experience in setting up a Cosmos blockchain network and has worked with the Cosmos blockchain stack. Your work will be hugely impactful, as you will be working within a team that acts as the driver for innovation in the crypto space.
What you will be doing:
- Build secure and reliable cloud infrastructure to monitor, detect and mitigate performance and security issues
- Build testnets, devnets to meet the engineering team’s testing and release schedules
- Automate and streamline DevOps processes
- System administration activities including routine, proactive daily management of the health, stability, and availability of system infrastructure
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 2+ year experience as a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer in crypto; preferable Cosmos network experience
- High proficiency with Cloud or infrastructure-as-code experience
- Experience with GCP and AWS and knowledge of cloud architecture and cloud native technologies
- High proficiency with containerized environments (Kubernetes and Docker)
- Experience in scripting – Shell scripts, Python or Go preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work and coordinate between cross functional teams
