We are looking for a team player with strong self-motivation who can adapt quickly to changing priorities, wear multiple hats, and proactively assist with solutions. Be prepared to travel occasionally for events and cool company offsite in true crypto spirit. We are looking for someone to execute day-to-day tasks in the decentralized communities we are operating in. You will work with industry experts and perform data analysis and development work.

Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Management:
  
  
  • Gather, clean, and manage relevant data from various internal and external sources.
  
  
  • Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
  
  
  
  


• Data Analysis and Interpretation:
  
  
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends related to governance practices and data tooling.
  
  
  • Use statistical methods to interpret data and generate actionable recommendations for improving governance and data management.
  
  
  
  


• Data Visualization:
  
  
  • Create compelling data visualizations using tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  
  
  • Develop dashboards and reports that present data in an accessible and understandable format for decision-makers.
  
  
  
  


• Data Integration and Scraping:
  
  
  • Implement data scraping methods to collect data from various sources relevant to governance and data tooling.
  
  
  • Integrate external data with internal datasets to enhance analysis and provide comprehensive insights.
  
  
  
  


• Innovation and Improvement:
  
  
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and governance.
  
  
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance data analysis and governance practices.
  
  
  
  


• Documentation:
  
  
  • Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
  
  
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive records of data sources, tools, and techniques used.
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

Must have:

• Proficient in developing maintainable frameworks.


• Experience working with large-scale datasets in Python


• Proficient in working on remote Jupyter Notebook environments.


• Skilled in using Matplotlib and Pandas for data visualization and analysis.


• Knowledge of using Git in team environments.


• Statistical Knowledge: Strong foundation in statistics.


• Technical Skills:
  
  
  • Average proficiency in TS.
  
  
  • Basic understanding of backend servers using Express.
  
  
  
  


• Work Ethic: Goal-oriented, self-sufficient problem solver with a strong work ethic.


• SQL Knowledge: Solid understanding of SQL.


• Language Skills: Fluent in English.

Preferable:

• Basic understanding of blockchain technology.


• Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and some data engineering experience.


• Familiarity with Google Cloud (GCloud) and virtual environments.


• Experience with data scraping techniques.


• Understanding of various API types (e.g., GraphQL, REST).


• Doesn’t have to be web3 native as long as one is willing to learn
