Job Description:

Diffusion Labs seeks a visionary Head of Product Management with profound experience in the Web3, crypto, and DeFi domains. This senior role is crucial for driving our product strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of state-of-the-art DeFi protocols. As the Head of Product Management, you will partner closely with our executive team to shape the future of DeFi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO, CTO, and other executives to define and execute a robust product strategy aligned with our mission and goals.


• Product Vision & Roadmap: Develop and own a visionary product roadmap that drives innovation and positions Diffusion Labs at the forefront of the DeFi sector.


• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to deliver exceptional products.


• End-to-End Product Management: Oversee the complete product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring successful go-to-market strategies and continuous enhancement.


• Agile Execution: Drive agile methodologies, lead sprint planning sessions, and manage the product backlog using Jira to ensure timely and effective delivery.


• User-Centric Development: Engage with power users and stakeholders to gather insights, ensuring our products are intuitive, valuable, and market-leading.


• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key product metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems to inform data-driven decisions and optimize product performance.


• Industry Innovation: Stay at the cutting edge of Web3, blockchain, and DeFi technologies to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.

Requirements:

• Extensive Experience: Minimum 5 years in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the Web3, crypto, or DeFi sectors.


• Web3/Crypto Expertise: Deep understanding of Web3 and crypto culture, narratives, and technologies, with practical experience in DeFi protocols and dApps.


• Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of financial principles, with bonus points for experience in trading or financial derivatives.


• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and account abstraction, with the ability to interpret and analyze smart contracts.


• Product Excellence: Proven track record of managing successful products from conception through launch and beyond, including vision, roadmap, and continuous improvement.


• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, with the capability to inspire and drive high-performing cross-functional teams.


• Tool Proficiency: Expertise in Jira and other leading product management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.


• Executive Collaboration: Experience working closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to drive product success.


• Startup Experience: Demonstrated experience in 0 to 1 product development within high-growth startups or innovative divisions of large organizations.


• Relevant Certifications: Certifications in product management, Agile methodologies, or related fields.
