Under its 21Shares brand, Amun is the world’s largest issuer of crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs). The 21Shares suite of ETPs has simplified access to crypto for both institutional and retail investors in the traditional finance community. In a similar fashion, Amun aims to provide tokens that will make it easy for the crypto community to access sophisticated strategies that are not otherwise readily available in this space. Amun 21Shares is a team of entrepreneurs, engineers, and financial product developers who are uniquely placed to revolutionize cryptocurrency investing through the issuance of our broad range of tokens. Our goal is to make these tokens present a new paradigm in cryptocurrency investing and to facilitate their use.


About the Role:


21Shares is looking for a Sr. Product Designer to join our talented multidisciplinary design team. You’ll be leading and guiding our product evolution by building bridges between traditional finance and the world of crypto. This person will work directly with our product and engineering teams to ensure we are building products the ecosystem loves.


Responsibilities



  • Responsible for owning and leading the entire, end-to-end Product Design process including research, UX, and UI

  • Communicate design ideas to stakeholders, developers, and product managers through task flows, user journeys & scenarios, as well as low and high-fidelity wireframes and mockups

  • Create and run design thinking ideation workshops in support of new product explorations

  • Advocate for the importance of lean and agile methodologies as they pertain to Product Design

  • Collaborate with product and engineering to prioritize features and improve the product design process

  • Own and define user testing and user research

  • Utilize both data and your knowledge of best UX practices to help us be better informed in our decisions

  • Transform ideas, feedback, and business opportunities into reusable, scalable design system patterns and components that meet user needs

  • Use collaborative technologies like Figma or Miro to visualize ideas, and Figma to create beautiful, functional interfaces


Who You Are:



  • 5+ years of product design experience

  • A university degree in interaction design, HCI, or equivalent

  • Have a bias towards action

  • Persistent in the face of roadblocks; you take the initiative to fix issues

  • In the pursuit of mastering your craft and consider yourself well on the way towards the top of your game

  • Comfortable jumping into an unfamiliar space and navigating uncertainty

  • Committed to goals, sometimes determined by yourself and often determined collaboratively, and flexible on tactics

  • Give a voice to the people who use what we build

  • Experience working directly with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ship fintech products

  • Rapidly build user flows and wireframes in Figma

  • Comfortable with lean, agile environments

  • Aptitude for (and ideally, some experience with) mentoring junior product designers

  • Interested in crypto/web3 and excited to deepen your knowledge about the future of finance
