Working for Bebop


At Bebop you will have an opportunity to grow professionally and make a direct impact on the business. You will work very closely with our product and engineering teams to improve your knowledge of building high-performance scalable applications and understand broader system architecture.


We are looking for a Quality Engineer who is experienced in testing new products, product features and ensuring rigorous maintenance of the functional areas of the product that can include but not limited to; APIs, Customer onboarding, User Interfaces, Compliance etc.


Responsibilities



  • Create test plan and test cases 

  • Write automated and perform manual tests necessary to ensure the product is developed to spec and performs as expected (this includes feature testing, performance testing and regression testing). 

  • Report and prioritise bugs for the engineering team 

  • Create and maintain relevant technical documentation

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as the product and engineering teams to come up with solutions for product improvements.


Hard Skills Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar)

  • Experience with functional and performance testing developed through working on full-stack and complex systems.

  • Experience with automation along with understanding of various frameworks such as Selenium, Rspec etc.


Nice to have skills



  • Experience with mobile testing would be desirable. 

  • Programming experience in Python is a plus

  • Scrum Master skills is a plus
