Digital Asset Research Analyst

The firm is a leading provider of bespoke currency management solutions to institutional clients around the world.

We’re making a strategic move into the crypto space and have the experience and reputation in the market to make an impact, and crucially to introduce the institutional investment community to this booming asset class. We are looking for a smart, ambitious research analyst to help us shape this exciting new venture.

Your mission:

You’ll be working with our team to design winning crypto investment strategies and helping us take them to market. This is a numbers game, and you’ll need strong programming and data analytical skills to perform in this role. But that’s not all, crucially important is the willingness to get stuck into a wide range of activities focused on establishing a new market leading digital asset business. This could be anything from performing due diligence on third party service provers (execution venues and data providers etc) to conducting research on decentralized finance and altcoins.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Identify and collect various data related to cryptocurrencies, and establish and maintain the internal digital currency database


• Under the guidance of digital currency director, design and test various investment strategies, ranging from risk mitigation strategies to absolute return seeking strategies


• Liaise with the different departments within the company (marketing, legal and compliance, risk, operations) to offer a ready to market products to our institutional clients.


• Work with Developers / Product Managers / Traders / Finance to successfully deliver projects

• The number one priority for this role is a deep understanding and passion for the cryptocurrency space. Whether through personal investing, programming, or other means of participation, we are looking for someone with true knowledge of this exciting industry!


• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Quantitative Finance.


• A strong quantitative background and excellent knowledge of modern data analysis methods (machine learning, optimization, etc.).


• Good programming skills, preferably in Python, and at ease with the manipulation of big volumes of data of all types.


• Fluent in English.


• A high degree of personal honesty and integrity.


• A hard-working personality with strong inter-personal skills and highly collaborative approach.
