About Squad
Squad aims to become the No.1 fashion NFT marketplace within the next few years. We’re starting with an NFT marketplace to build a sticky Web3 community, which will enable us to add more Web3 services to our platform later. To achieve this, we’re developing an automatic revenue-splitting algorithm and a multi-sig wallet for group content management, making it easier for fashion creatives to embrace the NFT space. Our vision is to transform fashion commerce through the power of blockchain, causing web3 mass adoption from fashion industry.
Stage of Squad: post MVP pre mainnet Launch
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solidity developer to join our team as a contractor for a 3-month project, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment. This role is crucial for developing and deploying smart contracts on our NFT marketplace. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the design and implementation process, working closely with our front-end and back-end engineering teams to integrate the smart contracts seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive high-level decisions regarding our smart contract architecture
- Work on and enhance the design of the protocol’s smart contracts
- Write clean and performant solidity code
- Document the details of our smart contract
- Collaborate with our team in a timely manner
- Work autonomously at a fast pace
- Work on the deployment of the protocol on Ethereum mainnet and L2s (Base, Polygon)
- Work with external auditors to ensure the highest level of security and transparency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Solidity and smart contract development.
- Familiarity with blockchain bridging technologies and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with NFT marketplace is highly desirable.
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with Polygon, Base
- Insight on the integration between smart contracts and blockchain state.
- Web3 experience and/or open-source contributions are preferred.
Location: London (Remote be applicable)
