About the role


We are seeking an experienced and strategic marketing leader to drive our expansion and growth in the Asia-Pacific market. As the Senior Marketing Manager for APAC, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to boost brand awareness, engagement, and community growth in the region, not just for the Nethermind brand but also for our sub-brands such as Nethermind Security, Nethermind Research, and the Internship Program.


In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to our global marketing team, providing valuable insights and recommendations to shape our overall APAC marketing strategy. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Design, Events, and Engineering, to ensure a cohesive and impactful approach to our marketing efforts in the region.


As a seasoned marketing professional with a deep understanding of the APAC market landscape, you will leverage your expertise to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities and drive measurable results. Responsibilities:



  • Develop, execute, and localize comprehensive APAC marketing strategies and content that align with Nethermind’s global marketing objectives and brand identity.

  • Lead market research initiatives to gain deep insights into local market trends, target audience preferences, and competitor activities in the APAC region.

  • Build and nurture high-level relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and potential partners across various marketing functions in the APAC region.

  • Identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities in APAC that can support Nethermind’s hiring, business development, and overall growth objectives.

  • Oversee and guide the Web Copywriter in the website translation initiative to ensure that our content is accessible to a global audience.

  • Collaborate with our events team to develop and execute a strategic events plan for the APAC region, securing high-impact opportunities to showcase Nethermind’s brand and thought leadership.

  • Partner with our Data Analyst to measure and analyze the performance of our APAC marketing initiatives.

  • Lead initiatives to develop and localize high-impact content that resonates with APAC audiences while maintaining brand consistency and alignment with our overall marketing strategy.

  • Provide strategic guidance and insights to the global marketing team, proactively identifying and communicating region-specific opportunities, challenges, and trends that may impact the global marketing.


Must Haves:



  • 6+ years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years focused on the APAC region in a strategic leadership role.

  • Extensive experience in onchain marketing, particularly in the Ethereum and Layer 2 ecosystem, with a deep understanding of the market landscape, key players, and emerging trends.

  • Specific knowledge of the APAC blockchain market landscape, including cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and key industry trends.

  • Deep expertise in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive measurable results in the APAC region.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to provide strategic guidance and direction to cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture high-level relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities in the APAC region.

  • Fluency in English and at least one major APAC language (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.


Nice to Haves:



  • Experience with product marketing, digital marketing strategies and best practices in the APAC region.

  • Established network of high-level contacts within the APAC marketing, events, and business community.

  • Experience with AI-marketing automation tools.

  • Proficiency in additional APAC languages beyond the one required.

  • Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices in the APAC region.

  • Proven track record of driving successful product launches or go-to-market strategies in the APAC region.
