The TIE is the leading provider of information services for digital assets. Our core offering, the Crypto SigDevTM Terminal, is the fastest and most comprehensive workstation for institutional digital asset investors. SigDev brings together real-time news from thousands of primary sources (updates directly from token issuers and exchanges, SEC filings, regulatory rulings, etc.), with sentiment analytics, streaming market data, and on-chain data in a powerful and intuitive platform.


Our clients include the leading traditional and crypto-native hedge funds, OTC desks, market makers, trading venues, banks, sell-side firms, and other institutional market participants.


What We Are Hiring For


We’re looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team.


You have an interest in crypto, data, finance, or trading. In addition, you’re excited to work in a startup environment where there are always new projects and challenges. You will have the opportunity to learn different functional areas of the business working side-by-side with the founders and business partners.

Location: New York City or Austin Preferred (remote within North America possible)


Responsibilities



  • Work with the product team on bringing new features and products to life as part of our institutional SigDev Terminal

  • Help maintain and improve a few B2C SaaS products

  • Opportunities to own greenfield projects from ideation to delivery


Need to Have



  • Strong experience in Ruby on Rails, especially with processes involving high-volume background jobs and real-time data

  • Confidence in working with either Vue or React (we use Vue) and implementing frontend designs with attention to detail

  • Ability to quickly iterate together with the product, design, research, and data science teams

  • Strong autonomy and ability to execute based on high-level business direction and project scope to take it from start to finish

  • An appreciation for keeping it simple and shipping quickly


Nice to Have



  • Interest in crypto/web3 or trading

  • Experience with financial data applications

  • A preference for TailwindCSS
