What is HiFi?

The HiFi Lending Protocol enables fixed-rate lending and borrowing — something much needed in decentralized finance today. Tokenizing on-chain debt allows anyone access to instant liquidity against collateral assets approved by HiFi Governance. Similar to a zero-coupon bond, the debt obligation settles on a specific future date. HiFi Governance is the community organized process of managing the various aspects of the HiFi Lending Protocol.

What you’ll do at HiFi

• Build, update, and review HiFi Lending Protocol smart contracts


• Designing contracts, systems, & processes


• Work with the top DeFi protocols


• Deliver high quality code


• Work with multiple blockchains

What we’re looking for:

• You have experience with Solidity and a strong understanding of the EVM


• You have knowledge of multiple chains, such as Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana, Polygon, etc.


• You care about quality, security, and efficiency


• Experience developing ERC-20 and/or ERC-721 tokens


• Experience interacting with web3 products like 0x, AAVE, MakerDAO, or Compound


• You can operate autonomously with a high level of trust


• You are proactive and are driven by curiosity


• You can handle complexity, but prefer simplicity


• You can see things from a high level, and dive into the details with equal confidence

What will really set you apart:

• A degree in math or computer science


• Experience implementing complex math in Solidity
