Swell is looking for an exceptional, experienced, and self-motivated blockchain / crypto / DeFi Senior Solidity / Smart Contract Engineer to join our growing team of core contributors. Swell is looking for folks who live and breathe the space and are excited at the prospect of working with a project that is at the absolute bleeding edge of this technological revolution. This is a full-time role with strong autonomy and independence with the ability to carve and shape your contributions to a protocol that is mission-driven and purpose-led to deliver the next-generation of staking.


Responsibilities



  • Driving smart contract and solidity development

  • Working collaboratively with team members and partners across projects

  • Leading with intellectual curiosity with a high standard of excellence

  • Developing and maintaining Web3 / crypto / DeFi infrastructure

  • Contributing to technical elements of the protocol

  • Ensuring best practice across development, testing, and security

  • Thriving in the fast-paced nature of the blockchain / crypto / DeFi market


Desired Experience



  • 2+ years commercial experience in Web3 / crypto / DeFi projects

  • Experience with Solidity and smart contract development

  • Strong understanding of blockchain and Ethereum
