About Rarity Society


Rarity Society is the first ever fashion DAO that offers its members 1-of-1 physical fashion items bundled with NFTs. Our mission is to bring NFTs into mainstream pop culture and build the next-generation community of hypebeasts on the metaverse.


Rarity Society has garnered support by a handful of celebrities and influencers, and is on track for an explosive launch for season 1. As the first core UI/UX designer of the team, you will direct and design Rarity Society’s overall brand aesthetic and user experience, working alongside our team members including founder RarityJan and tech lead Leeren.


Role



  • Build visual concepts for Rarity Society’s dapp, iconography, blogs, and other UI features

  • Develop compelling UX by translating user research and interaction storyboards into product workflows

  • Review, improve, and present design ideas to the core team on an iterative and systematic basis

  • Join a talented team passionate about web3 in building out the innovation frontier for fashion and NFTs

  • Become a design leader of the world’s first social + fashion DAO


Desired Skills



  • Experience in UI/UX design roles

  • Familiarity with Figma

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Strong understanding of adaptive, composable, and responsive design

  • Good communication skills

  • Creative thinking with a passion for visual innovation in web3

  • Basic understanding of NFTs and DeFi


Nice to Have



  • Experience with doing user research and crafting storyboards & wireframes

  • Experience with 3D programs such as Maya or Cinema 4D

  • Passion for fashion, especially streetwear

  • Experience with helping design NFT and mainstream fashion projects

  • Lives in Los Angeles
